New Zealander of the Year Awards 2013 Launch
The 2013 programme for the New Zealander of the Year Awards will launch in Auckland and Dunedin in July. This is the platform for which we start the search to recognise and reward inspiring individuals and community groups that are making a valuable difference to our nation.
Members of the public who have an interest in making a positive contribution to the country are invited. Come along to hear special guests consiting of several previous winners speak and listen to some great Kiwi music including Jeremy Redmore from Midnight Youth. Refreshments will be provided.
Auckland Launch

The New Zealander of the Year Awards, along with our Award partners, would like to congratulate each of our winners across the five categories of this year’s awards.
From a pool of almost 500 nominees, the contributions and dedication of the following five outstanding finalists shone through. Their sacrifice and commitment to community and national pride make them perfect ambassadors for New Zealand and worthy recipients of these awards.

2013 Awards Programme - Key Dates
Nominations will open again in July 2012 for the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year programme.
Official events to launch nominations for 2013 will be held in Wellington & Auckland in early July.
Should you wish to nominate an individual or community organisation, nominations will reopen for the 2013 programme in July 2012. Please contact the Awards Office for a nomination form or complete online.
